On Wednesday's Franklin and Bash, the two lawyers had to figure out a way to get their boss to be able to practice law again.

Breckin Meyer Reveals Mark-Paul Gosselaar 'Overdue' To Direct 'Franklin & Bash'

Franklin (Breckin Meyer) and Bash (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) came up with the idea that their boss Stanton (Malcolm McDowell) was a sex addict and was incapacitated by his sex addiction when Rachel King (Heather Locklear) took advantage of him and robbed his law firm. The judge went along with it so that Stanton could once again practice law and be in charge of his law firm.

Meyer had previously said that in the fourth season Franklin and Bash would be going back to its "underdog" roots, especially with the two running the law firm while Stanton wasn't allowed.

"The one thing we've always loved about the show is when we're the underdogs with our backs against the walls and we have to fight for the little man," Meyer told TV Guide. "Suddenly, we'd become The Man and who do we fight against [when] we've won?"

On Access Hollywood Live last week Meyer and Gosselaar also revealed that legendary actress Cloris Leachman would be making an appearance on the show this season. "Cloris was awesome," Meyer said. "We have many, many photos of her doing obscene gestures," he joked.

Franklin and Bash airs on Wednesday nights on TNT at 10 p.m. ET.
