While some Star Wars fans might be expecting some wild special effects for the seventh film, it turns out that most of it will likely be all natural.

'Episode VII' Actress Will Also Be In Future Trilogies?

On Wednesday, HitFix posted a story on Rian Johnson, the filmmaker who's responsible for Star Wars: Episode VII and possibly one of the future trilogies. Even though he couldn't mention a lot of details about the plot, he did say that there will be more naturality than CG effects, something he's proud of.

"They're doing so much practical building for this one. It's awesome," Johnson said. "I think people are coming back around to [practical effects]. It feels like there is sort of that gravity pulling us back toward it."

Will Luke Skywalker Have A New Look In 'Episode VII?'

"I think that more and more people are hitting kind of a critical mass in terms of the CG-driven action scene lending itself to a very specific type of action scene, where physics go out the window and it becomes so big so quick," the filmmaker continued.

Johnson went on about why the filmmakers are creating the movie like this, which is mainly due to what the younger generation would like to see.

"I probably sound like a grumpy old man talking about it," he said. "I do wonder because I think kids are growing up watching those and that's the thing that they love now, so I don't know whether it is a generational thing, and it could be."

Star Wars: Episode VII is expected to hit theaters on December 18, 2015.
