Francis Dolarhyde is coming to Hannibal, and his arrival will necessitate a slight change in the series' point of view during season 3.

The Red Dragon character will make his Hannibal debut when the NBC series returns in 2015. Unlike the 2002 film, the Bryan Fuller production will jump inside the killer's point of view.

"I'm super-excited about Dolarhyde," said executive producer Steve Lightfoot, according to Digital Spy. "He's the most interesting of the killers in the Harris books for me because he wants to stop. What we get that the movies never had is time to give him a point of view and to live with him, as we live with Will - we will spend time in Dolarhyde's POV and tell his story."

However, it looks like viewers will have to wait until the second half of season 3 to actually meet Dolarhyde. Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) and his friends will be a little preoccupied searching for Hannibal throughout early episodes.
