The highly anticipated Ask the Moms special will bring together the casts from MTV's Teen Mom and Teen Mom 2, and the stars couldn't be more excited about it.

Gearing up to attend the event in New York, the young parents are preparing there kids and getting themselves set for the trip. "Done packing!" declared Evans on Twitter Thursday night, "Ready for NYC."

Teen Mom's Catelynn Lowell, Amber Portwood and Maci Bookout with join together with Teen Mom 2's Kailyn Lowry, Leah Calvert, Chelsea Houska, and Jenelle Evans for the exclusive August interview, plus a brief Q&A.

"I can smell NYC already," tweeted Lowry's husband, Javi Marroquin.

While it is uncertain whether or not all the Teen Mom beau's will be in attendance, Lowry's husband and two sons will be tagging along for the trip. Evans will probably bring newborn Kaiser, though her elder son Jace could possibly stay with her mother Barbara, who officially has custody of the child.

As for the audience, MTV looked to the fans. Early this month fans applied for free tickets from Onset Productions to the event, and some of the attendees will even get the chance to ask the stars a few questions.

Teen Mom 2 continues on MTV with new episodes this summer on Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT. Teen Mom will be getting its own reunion special this fall, minus the recently cut Farrah Abraham, with a new season starting up in 2015.

MTV's Ask the Moms special will tape on Sunday, August 24 at 2:30 p.m.
