After 17-year-old Michael Brown was shot and killed by a police officer, Darren Wilson, several celebrities including the VH1 star made their way to the small St. Louis suburb to try to bring peace. Benzino took to his Twitter and Instagram several days this this week to document and share his experience in the troubled city

He shared a video of OWN's Fix My Life host Iyanla Vanzant Thursday night speaking with youth. He captioned it, "RIGHT NOW!!!!"

While he was out doing good, he had a few critics of his trip to the town. He called out his haters and made it clear that he is far from finished. He wrote on Twitter Thursday morning, "Man I can't even give my servies to a great cause without somebody hating, smh, it does't matter because I wont stop till there is JUSTICE".

Benzino also revealed his passion behind the very controversial ordeal. He shared a meme of himself via Instagram Wednesday with the words, "My son could've been Michael Brown. Enough is enough".

Earlier that day he attempted to encourage the people of Ferguson while criticizing police who surrounded protestors. He posted a meme that reads, "Nothing says 'Land of the free' like being surrounded by Black uniforms at a peaceful demonstration.

He included the caption, "Good morning #ferguson I will be once again proudly standing with and by you, for the sole purpose to bring justice and awareness to the unfortunate situation that has happened to #mikebrown The world will take notice to your bravery and commitment to fair and unbiased JUSTICE! #justiceformikebrown".
