Chris Brown's love life is always in the news and on his latest song, X, he openly sings about it.

The title track from his upcoming album was released on SoundCloud on Friday and Brown is emotionally talking about an ex-girlfriend. Could it be about his on-again, off-again relationship with Karrueche Tran or about his highly-publicized romance with Rihanna?

The 25-year-old finally announced via Instagram this month that his long-awaited sixth album will drop on Sept. 16. The album was expected last summer, but it was postponed due to the singer's legal troubles. Brown was arrested in March after he reportedly violated the rules of a court-ordered rehab facility. On May 9, he was ordered to stay in jail for 131 more days after he violated his probation.

Upon his release from jail on June 2, Brown quickly let fans know that his mind was on his career.

"Humbled and Blessed," he tweeted a few hours after leaving jail. "Back to the Music and the Fans."

Verse 1:

If you're only as good as the company you keep, then I'm gonna blame you for what they say about me. When I was by myself I was fast asleep, since you came around I've been up for weeks.

Yikes, I've been with the wrong crowd. I can you make you a believer, if I turn the nonsense down. I keep my secrets in a safe house. Better if I don't speak. Devil's trying to tempt me. They just outline my shape out. Place me at the crime scene.

I can see from this high up, you ain't got a heart, girl. Privacy is for the cheater, obviously you're deceiving.

Chorus:

I know, I know just who you are. You put me on layaway. You just left a heart shot, oh girl. I think that it's over. I think that it's over. I swear to God I'm moving on.

I ain't goin back no more (repeat).

You can start a fight, I ain't fighting back. I'm cool with it. I simply came here to party. Why would I trip off of that bullsh-t? When I'm on that good sh-t. I swear to God I'm moving on.

Verse 2:

Substitute love for a better thing. Undoing my pain like a lonely child, yeah. I didn't build these walls for you to piss all on my past, so, go ahead, burn it down. I'm gonna build me another one. All these clouds.

Chorus
