Vin Diesel joined in on the current rage for a good cause, taking the ALS ice bucket challenge in character as Dominic Toretto of Fast and Furious 7.

The actor braved through a bucket full of ice and stood tall in a pickup truck. But the end of the challenge, which was posted on the movie's official Facebook page and Diesel's Instagram account recently, is the best. Diesel actually challenged Putin after succesfully going through with it. He also challenged Angelina Jolie and Michelle Obama. 

Most recently (August 11) Diesel posted a picture on Facebook, wherein he is seen in character as Toretto, wearing an unbuttoned white shirt -- which bares his chiseled upper bod -- and white pants. The scene is set in a nice breezy summer day at the beach with Toretto getting some lemonade for himself.

But before posting this very sexy pic of Toretto, Diesel had been putting up some exciting pictures of Toretto in action sequences, seen tackling Jason Statham's villainous character.

Fast and Furious 7 will take off from where Fast and Furious 6 left off. James Wan took over the director's role from Justin Lin, who announced earlier in the year that he will step away from directing the franchise.

The cast for the seventh instalment reprising their roles include Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Luke Evans, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris and Jordana Brewster. UFC Womens Bantam weight champion Ronda Rousey and ONG Bak star Tony Jaa will also star in the film.

Fast and Furious 7 will hit theaters in April 3, 2015.
