In a new interview with MTV, rap's comeback queen Remy Ma revealed that she may be releasing a mixtape as soon as next week. Since her just over 6 year jail stint ended earlier this month, the Bronx native has been in the studio, every chance she gets.

Music critics positively responded to her verse on DJ Khaled's "They Don't Love You No More (Remix)", and soon, it looks like fans will be able to hear even more from Mrs. Papoose.

Since her release, she has made hundreds of local press stops in NYC, as her parole stipulations include travel restrictions. In a new interview with MTV, she revealed, "I've been really focusing on my solo records for right now."

She added, "I'd like to do more songs for other people... But, I really feel like I haven't been able to put forth my best."

During her time in prison, the former First Lady of Terror Squad wrote a notebook full of rhymes and now she is ready to unleash it on the world. With the buzz surrounding her return to the game, she has to deal with a whole different level of pressure. Still, fans are confident that the time she is putting in at the studio will be worth the wait.

As soon as next week, she could drop a mixtape called I'm Around. "Im trying to get into the studio so I can finish it and put something out by next week," she explained.
