It was uncertain last week whether or not Janelle Evans would be bringing her eldest son to New York with her for MTV's Teen Mom crossover special, but on Friday Evans confirmed that the trip would in fact be a family affair.

"My little man is ready to flyyyyy!" tweeted Evans on Friday. The accompanying photo reveal five-year-old Jace sitting gleefully in the window-seat of an airplane beside his grandmother, Barbara Evans.

Barbara has had custody of Jace since he was a baby, and so it seems that she is going to look after the boy while Evans puts in her time for the MTV's Ask The Moms special.

However, Evans has made it known that the kids are still her priority. Earlier that day the reality star had changed her background photo on Twitter to one of her newborn son Kaiser.

Evans announced her arrival in New York City on a cloudy afternoon on Friday by sharing a pic from inside the rental car, showing plenty of traffic and a hazy city skyline.

Ask the Moms will bring together stars from Teen Mom and Teen Mom 2 for a special interview and Q&A. It will be taped in front of a live audience on Sunday, August 24 at 2:30 p.m.

Teen Mom 2 continues on MTV with new episodes Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
