Pop star Katy Perry has been rumored to be dating DJ Diplo who dished on the singer and what they've been doing together, giving some insight if they're really dating or not.

On Saturday, Music-News posted an interview with Diplo who mentioned that he and Perry hang out. Apparently, the singer denied that she and the DJ are in a relationship after she was with John Mayer, and Diplo revealed that his lady friend receives a lot of attention when she's out in public.

"Katy uses Uber when she's out in L.A., but sometimes a driver tries to take a picture with her," Diplo said.

Despite the fact that the guy who's been rumored to have a romantic fling with the "Birthday" singer has a fairly successful career, he actually doesn't live in a super fancy lifestyle.

"I don't even have a house," he said. "A lot of DJ's don't realize they're here today and gone tomorrow. They're literally taking jets to every show. It's crazy how much money they're spending."

Even though Diplo did not say much more about Perry, it is possible that something might be going on between the two. He didn't say they were together, but he also didn't say that they weren't. While his personal life might be under the rocks, the DJ is actually working on a music collaboration with Madonna.

"One is super weird," he admitted. "Late one night in the studio we got a little bit drunk and she improvised a little hook and we made a song out of it. I think it's going to be a breakthrough if she can manage to get everything together and get it out properly."
