After singer Justin Bieber nominated talk show host Ellen DeGeneres for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, another celebrity has come after Portia de Rossi's wife. Kendrick Lamar nominated the talk show host in a new video.
On Wednesday, Lamar accepted the charity challenge from rap legend Dr. Dre. Lamar then nominated DeGeneres, tennis player Serena Williams and actor Samuel L. Jackson. DeGeneres had previously been nominated by Justin Bieber.
DeGeneres and de Rossi have not participated in the viral charity sensation, yet. However, DeGeneres did tweet on Thursday a video, adding, "If you watch 1 #ALSIceBucketChallenge, make it this. @CarbajalPhoto, I'll accept if you come on my premiere show."
DeGeneres and de Rossi just celebrated their sixth wedding anniversary. DeGeneres tweeted last Monday about her wife's gift, "Look what my wife did for our wedding anniversary. Six!" de Rossi had arranged for a giant "SIX" to be written in the sky. The two posed below the giant letters.
"They've had their ups and downs," a source told People Magazine back in July about their marriage, which has been the subject of many reports. "Portia has been very outspoken about previous issues, like her eating disorder, and she's good at seeking help when she needs to. They've worked out difficulties in the past, and no doubt they're trying to work out any problems right now."
