Ariana Grande Wins 'Best Pop Video' For 'Problem' At MTV VMAs 2014

Grande's musical career is outstanding already. At the ripe age of 15 her impressive vocals landed her a role in a Broadway Musical, 13. Now 21 years old, she has four songs (Problem, Bang Bang, Break Free, and Best Mistake) that have fueled her way to be on Billboard's Artist 100. The chart is an amalgamation of an artist's activity across various charts (including the Hot 100, Billboard 200 and others) which have led her to be the current number one. These charts also help choose Billboard's artist of the year.

Keith Caulfield, Billboard's associate director of charts and sales told USA Today that he predicts My Everything to peak at number one across Billboard, based on industry forecasts. Caulfield also stated, "Her voice echoes a bit of Mariah Carey, but she has a wide taste in music and can channel a lot of sounds and styles."

Grande has acted in her past as well, playing roles in Nickelodeon TV shows before her debut album. Her debut album Yours Truly was led to the charts by the song The Way. The pop singer performed at the VMAs this past weekend, taking part in the three way duel with Nicki Minaj and Jessie J. Grande remembers falling to the floor when she first heard the final mixing of the song, reported by USA Today. She also won Best Pop Video for her song Problem, featuring Iggy Azalea.
