Finding Carter is about to take on a steamy yet awkward moment when Taylor is about to lose her virginity to Max.

Will Carter Go Back To Her Pretend Mom On 'Finding Carter?'

On Monday, MTV posted a sneak peek of Max and Taylor kissing on a bed when the moment starts off as romantic, but shows how inexperienced these two are. As dramatic music plays and the couple embrace the moment, Max suddenly stops and asks Taylor if she's sure she wants to do this.

She confidently says that she does when Max informs her that she can change her mind at any time. She understands this and gives him a look that acknowledges his comment although she's okay about taking things further with him. She also makes it clear that she loves the music when he asks.

'Control Will Be Tested' On 'Finding Carter'

Max can't help but keep making things more awkward for Taylor when he lets her know to tell him to "adjust" if she doesn't like the way something feels. As nervous as Max might be, she tells him that he's starting to make the moment feels like driver's ed.

Viewers might find themselves giggling when Taylor asks to have the lights off. When Max does this and the two go back to the steamy moment, it's not so steamy since Taylor can't even see where Max is. She then asks about turning on the lamp, but it doesn't work since it was found on the street.

Rather than throwing little things like that aside, Max decides to go to a hardware store because he wants Taylor to have a map for her "first time."

Finding Carter airs on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on MTV.
