Jenelle Evans spent this past weekend in New York City filming a Teen Mom special for MTV, but for the star the trip was really all about the family time.

When she was done on set and had finished all her homework, the 23-year-old Teen Mom 2 star didn't go out to clubs or parties. Instead, she relaxed with her family back at the hotel.

"My men," tweeted Evans on Monday afternoon with a photo of her 5-year-old son Jace laughing in a hammock with her boyfriend Nathan Griffith.

"Relaxing at the patio on top of our hotel," added Evans, showing a quiet little place in the sunshine.

While Jace had spent some of the weekend with his grandmother Barbara while Evans was filming, Monday afternoon provided some one-on-one time with her little boy. "Baby Jace all over again hahaha!" noted Evans on Twitter as she posted a pic of Jace all wrapped up in the hammock and smiling.

Notably absent from Evans' photos this weekend in baby Kaiser, born June 29, though it seems unlikely that she would bring Jace and leave Kaiser behind for such a trip, especially since her mother went to New York with them.

The MTV special, Ask the Moms, will bring together stars from Teen Mom and Teen Mom 2 for an exclusive interview and Q&A session.

Teen Mom 2 continues on MTV with new episodes Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
