"It was truly surprising that everyone in the room fell in love with it the moment she tried it on. The ease of the dress, against my more structured pieces, felt refreshing," Posen told People magazine.

The German beauty, who complemented the gown with eye-catching Lorraine Schwartz earrings, told the magazine that she loved the camellia tone of the dress and its "sleekness."

However, Monday night's dress was far different than the one Klum sported for the Creative Arts Emmys on Aug. 16. The America's Got Talent judge explained that she was going for a more elegant look.

"My dress for the Creative Arts Emmys was part of a challenge for our Project Runway designers this season, so it was sort of an 'Anything can happen' situation! Sean Kelly designed a beautiful dress that had really playful movement," Klum said. "For the Primetime Emmys, Zac and I found a look that was a little more sophisticated, with a pop of color."

Yet, Klum also look beautiful in Kelly's blue gown with tassels that moved every time she walked on the red carpet.

Project Runway judge, Tim Gunn, praised the contestant for his unique gown. "Everyone, congratulate @PR13seankelly for his fabulous design for @heidiklum! How lucky am I to have been in the presence of both! XX," Gunn wrote on WhoSay along with a photo from the event.
