Austin Mahone News: ‘The Secret’ Singer Dishes On Nicki Minaj’s VMA Performance ‘Her Butt Was Just Huge’ [VIDEO]

Austin Mahone was one of the special artists nominated and invited to Sunday's Video Music Awards, so what was the 18-year-old's favorite part? It seems it was Nicki Minaj's performance of her song Anaconda.

"I saw Nicki's performance. That was pretty cool," Mahone told MTV on Sunday. "Her butt was just huge. That's all. That was all I could focus on. I saw another side of Nicki." Minaj famously twerked and danced with her dancers in very little clothing.

Although that was his favorite so far at Sunday's VMAs, Mahone did manage to let fans know what he's working on currently. "I'm on tour with Fifth Harmony, The Vamps and Shawn Mendes and after I get off tour I'm going to go back to Miami and work on my first full-length album and put that out." Mahone released his EP The Secret in May and it went to number one on iTunes right away.

The website also asked the Mmm Yeah singer about working with singer Justin Bieber in Miami this year. Mahone couldn't say when the record would exactly come out except for it would probably drop next year. He did say though that it's "great."

Mahone's next tour stop is Tuesday in Pittsburgh. Mahone even tweeted "PITTSBURGH!!!" early this morning about his excitement.

That date will be followed by a concert Wednesday in Cincinnati, Ohio.
