The preview clip for the upcoming episode of Ray Donovan was revealed by Showtime on August 25 and it hints at various plot twists.

Liev Schreiber Makes TV Directing Debut With Season 2 Of Ray Donovan 

One of the highlights shows Abby (Paula Malcolmson) kicking Ray (Liev Schreiber) out of their home, as he seems to be confronting her about something, most likely her affair outside their marriage. The clip hints at the fact that Ray has been spying on Abby, as his right hand man, has pictures of Abby and her lover which Ray demands to see. Ray's daughter is also seen calling her mother, while she is in bed with her lover. Abby tells her daughter she is running errands when asked about her whereabouts.

Toward the end of the clip, Abby is seen pushing Ray aggressively, yelling at him to "get out."

James Cochran Is "An Odd Mirror Image" Of Ray In Ray Donovan 

In other recent news, it was revealed that Showtime had renewed Ray Donovan for a third season, with an order for a 12-episode chapter. Deadline reported that the show was all set for its next phase with Masters of Sex. Both shows premiered on the network together. Production for the next season will begin in early 2015.

Showtime president David Nevins spoke about how both shows were in a league of their own.

"Both Ray Donovan and Masters Of Sex are quintessentially Showtime: bold, provocative, premium television with production values at the top of the food chain," he said.

The second season premiered on July 13.

The next episode of Ray Donovan will air on Sunday, Aug 31 at 8 pm ET/PT on Showtime.
