Love & Hip Hop New York star Joe Budden has taken his denial of physically abusing his ex-girlfriend as he has threatened to sue the New York Police Department.

He tweeted Friday and shut down any reports that the NYPD is on an all out "manhunt" searching for the Slaughterhouse rapper.

He wrote, "I'm gonna sue the living s--- out u gentlemen. Manhunt...@NYPDNews".

He then made it clear he wasn't hiding out from the authorities and let them know exactly where to find him.

"I'll be in a strip club in Astoria tonight. Let the "Man hunt" know. @NYPDNews".

The Pump It Up rapper went on to call out the infamous police department for allocating their resources inappropriately.

He wrote,"Glad to see our tax payer dollars being put to good use! Lol".

Budden's tweets were in response to a message NYPD posted on their own Twitter page that revealed they were indeed looking for the reality star. The department posted a picture of Budden's mugshot along with the caption, "WANTED: Joe Budden, 6ft., 200 lbs., for robbery/taking cell phone of F/25 at 4:30am 8/18. Call #800577TIPS".


Budden went continued his jokes into this week and started a #FreeBudden campaign, poking fun at the fact that he has not been arrested yet.

He wrote Tuesday, "#FreeBudd ... Oh wait.....Too early, my bad".

He added, "Let this be a lesson to all...never steal a cell phone that's in your name. Smh...Justice will be served."

TMZ first reported that Budden's ex-girlfriend made claims to police that he physically attacked her. He allegedly pulled her out of a restaurant in New York City and put her in his car before hitting her head on the dash board. Sources say he also took her to his home in New Jersey and continued to abuse her. She also released photos.
