The Chicago Tribune reported on Wednesday that Dornan just signed on for The Ninth Life of Louis Drax. Shooting is set to commence in October in Vancouver. Alexandre Aja is set to direct. Max Minghella wrote the screenplay, which was adapted from Liz Jensen's novel. Minghella will also produce the film with Tim Bricknell.

"Tim and I are thrilled this deeply personal project is being brought to fruition with passion and integrity," said Minghella in a statement. "We look forward to collaborating with Alex and Miramax to create a truly original movie that will captivate and surprise audiences."

This isn't Dornan's only new film. In early August, The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Dornan will star in The Siege of Jadotville. The story is about the siege of 150 U.N. Irish troops in 1961 in the Congo after pro-Western warlord Moise Tshombe took control of the Katanga region and killed the democratically elected Congolese prime minister Patrice Lamumba. Dornan will play Commandant Pat Quinlan, the Irishman who led the U.N. battalion.

Fifty Shades of Grey is set to come out Valentine's Day 2015. No word on when and/or if the sequels will be filming yet.
