When FX's motorcycle drama Sons of Anarchy returns for its final season, Wayne Unser (Dayton Callie) will be mourning the death of Tara (Maggie Siff).

Unser inadvertently caused the death of Tara in the Season 6 finale of SOA after lying to his crush Gemma (Katey Sagal) that Tara was going to testify against SAMCRO. This caused Gemma to brutally murder Tara, though he still has no idea that Gemma was the one to do it.

Going into Season 7, the final season of the series, Unser will be mourning Tara's death and ultimately helping the new sheriff in town with the investigation into her murder, according to a new TV Guide spoiler report.

However, it seems that there are some people in town who do not want Unser "digging around," suggesting that he may be offed if he gets too close to the truth.

Another person who will take the death of Tara hard is her own murderer. Gemma will reportedly be haunted by Tara in the final season, according to Sons of Anarchy creator and showrunner Kurt Sutter.

"Gemma has this odd, remorse-[driven] dialogue with Tara throughout the season," Sutter previously teased, "as if she's sitting right there next to her."

Siff will not physically be appearing in the final season of the show but it seems as though her death will weigh heavily on Charming in the final episodes.

Sons of Anarchy Season 7 is set to premiere Tuesday, Sept. 9 at 10 p.m. on FX. The series will have a special one hour and 45 minute premiere.
