Despite loads of tense moments and endless amounts of lies, two relationships in Salem are set to take a turn for the better on Days of Our Lives.

Hope Uncovers Aiden's Lies

Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) have had a tumultuous and tension-filled relationship for months-going from hating one another, to respecting one another, and even liking one another-but they had hit a new snag after they reacted badly to almost sharing a kiss at the gala. Following that, Hope began freezing Aiden out a bit more, and Aiden lied to her about the nature of his relationship with Jennifer (Melissa Reeves), which backfired on him.

Now, the two may finally stop trying to deny how they feel about one another, and will share in intimate moment together-which will be promptly followed by another confession from Aiden. The confession could have the power to finally put the two on the path toward a proper relationship-or it could once again rip them apart.

Sami Breaks Down Over E.J.'s Betrayal

No matter how tense their relationship has been, they have nothing on the tension, drama and history that E.J. (James Scott) and Sami (Allison Sweeney) have shared. Their relationship has spanned decades of on/off hate, love, companionship, anger and passion. When they finally reunited it seemed like they had finally gotten their act together, but E.J. cheated on her with Abigail (Kate Mansi)-and unfortunately for him, Sami found out about it. Now, since their wedding, Sami has been wreaking havoc on both his and Abigail's lives in revenge.

However, now that she knows Abigail isn't going to take her games anymore, Sami could start to thaw towards E.J. as well-and the two may finally reconcile and become the couple they had the ability to be.

"I don't want to be back in your bed unless I'm back in your heart," E.J. says to her in a preview clip for the episode.

And while Sami doesn't have a verbal response for her husband, her eyes seem to hint that all she wants now is to have him back in her life.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
