A sneak peek clip from the upcoming episode of season 3 of Ray Donovan revealed that Cookie Brown (Omar J. Dorsey) will be demanding for the rights to Marvin's (Octavius J. Johnson) music from Recon and Ray (Lieve Schreiber) will step into put Brown in his place.

Abby Kicks Ray Out Of Their Home In Upcoming Episode Of Ray Donovan

In the clip Brown is seen threatening Lee Drexler (Peter Jacobson), who owns Recon, and asking for rights to the music label's young star, Marvin. While Brown is sitting pompous with a weapon and two of his thugs to bully Drexler, Ray comes in and asks him to do away with the bullshit. Brown is then seen reasoning why he deserves the right to Marvin's music. He stated that he gave Drexler $30,000 back in the day to help him start the label and that now it was payback time. Ray sterny asks Brown to talk about the matter civilly and not by bullyning Drexler, asking him to discuss the issue outside Drexler's home.

In other recent news, it was revealed that Showtime had renewed Ray Donovan for a third season, with an order for a 12-episode chapter. Deadline reported that the show was all set for its next phase with Masters of Sex. Both shows premiered on the network together. Production for the next season will begin in early 2015.

Ray Donovan Renewed For Third Season

Showtime president David Nevins spoke about how both shows were in a league of their own.

"Both Ray Donovan and Masters Of Sex are quintessentially Showtime: bold, provocative, premium television with production values at the top of the food chain," he said.

The second season premiered on July 13.

The next episode of Ray Donovan will air on Sunday, Aug 31 at 8 pm ET/PT on Showtime.
