Singer Shakira may be getting her wish to eventually have her own mini soccer team with Gerard Pique sooner than anyone realized, as the She Wolf singer has confirmed she is expecting a second child with her partner of four years.

Gerard Pique Predicted Future With Shakira?

Speaking to the Spanish version of Cosmopolitan magazine, the 37-year-old revealed that the couple is expecting a child together-and the magazine also reveals that it is indeed another boy.

"Yes, I'm pregnant," she said in the interview, though she didn't confirm a due-date.

Shakira Didn't Root For Gerard Pique During The 2014 World Cup?

Rumors began floating that she may be pregnant again after she appeared to be sporting a baby bump during the World Cup, but this is the first time either she or Pique confirmed the news-and they are reportedly very happy about the news-despite it potentially being a shock.

During an April interview with Latina magazine, Shakira revealed that she would love to have several children with Pique-but it wasn't the right time to do so because her career was keeping her so busy.

"If it weren't because of my music projects, I would be pregnant already," she said at the time of giving now 19-month-old son Milan a younger sibling. "I would love to have eight or nine kids with Gerard-my own futbol team."

The couple has been together since 2010 after meeting on the set of her music video for Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) the official World Cup song for that year-and though Shakira was still with Argentinian lawyer Antonio de la Rua at the time, Pique was so confident he would win her over that he reportedly told her at the time that they would not only be together, but parents to a child, by the time the 2014 World Cup rolled around.

Sure enough, Shakira and de la Rua announced their split in January 2011, saying things had actually ended in August 2010. The singer announced she and Pique were dating in March 2011 by posting a photo on her Facebook page of the two together, with the caption "I present to you my sunshine" in Spanish.

Pique's prediction turned out to be even more correct when Shakira announced she was pregnant with his child in September 2012. Milan Pique Meberak was born on January 22, 2013 in Barcelona, where the family lives full-time.
