The 2014-2015 TV season is right around the corner and CBS looks to be shifting around some of its programming in favor of new shows, such as Scorpion, Stalker and NCIS: New Orleans.

CBS will be kicking off the 2014-2015 TV season with their heavily promoted Thursday Night Football. The first game will be Pittsburgh vs. Baltimore on Thursday, Sept. 11 at 8:25 p.m. A full 10 days later will be the official start of premiere week.

Sunday, Sept. 21 will feature the premiere of 60 Minutes at 7 p.m. and the series premiere of the new political drama Madam Secretary at 8 p.m. The critically acclaimed legal drama The Good Wife will return for its sixth season at 9 p.m.

On Monday, Sept. 22, sitcom The Big Bang Theory will have a one-hour premiere event from 8-9 p.m. The sitcom will be airing on Mondays through October, and on Thursday, Oct. 30 it will return to Thursdays at 8 p.m.

The series premiere of the new intelligence drama Scorpion will take place Monday, Sept. 22 at 9 p.m.

Tuesday, Sept. 23 will see premieres from 8-11 p.m. starting with NCIS at 8 p.m., the series premiere of NCIS: New Orleans at 9 p.m. and the premiere of Person of Interest at 10 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 24 will be the premiere of Survivor: San Juan del Sur.

On Friday, Sept. 26, The Amazing Race will make its Friday debut in the 8 p.m. timeslot. Hawaii Five-O will premiere at 9 p.m. and Blue Bloods will premiere at 10 p.m.

One of the longest running shows on television 48 Hours will have its season premiere Saturday, Sept. 27 at 10 p.m.

Sunday, Sept. 28 will feature the premiere of the 15th season of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

Sophomore sitcom Mom will premiere Monday, Sept. 29 at 8:30 p.m. while NCIS: Los Angeles premieres at 10 p.m.

Wednesday, Oct. 1 will be the premiere of Criminal Minds at 9 p.m. and the series debut of Stalker at 10 p.m.

There won't be any new premieres until Monday, Oct. 27 when 2 Broke Girls takes over for The Big Bang Theory at 8 p.m.

Finally, Thursday, Oct. 30 will feature the aforementioned Thursday premiere of The Big Bang Theory at 8 p.m., the premiere of The Millers at 8:30 p.m., Two and a Half Men at 9 p.m., The McCarthys at 9:30 p.m. and Elementary at 10 p.m.
