The 48-year-old plays Neil on the CBS soap opera while Moore played the character's brother, Malcolm. Moore will reprise his role for two episodes on Wednesday, Sept. 10 and Thursday, Sept. 11. The character will return to Genoa City to make amends with Neil and hopefully fix their rocky relationship.

In a new interview with SoapOperaNetwork.com, St. John revealed how much he missed working with the current Criminal Minds star.

"We had so much fun way back when; it was like school kids, like high school. And then, when you don't have that, you miss it. I didn't realize how good it was until it wasn't there anymore!" he said.

Moore, who left the show in 2005, recently teased his return on Instagram with a photo that shows him and St. John rehearsing their lines.

"MALCOLM n NEIL.. Reunited!! THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS!!! It's been 10 years but it felt like 'Only Yesterday' in many ways..." Moore wrote as the caption. "It was a really nice feeling to be welcomed back to the place that began my career 20 Years Ago.. Same furniture, many familiar faces, and same Bad coffee...
