Country singer Keith Urban and actress Nicole Kidman (Stoker, Grace of Monaco) found one another later in their lives, but the two savor each and every moment they spend together.

Kidman recently opened up to The Edit about her career, fashion and married life. The star began her interview by showing up late, claiming she and Urban had gotten distracted spending time with one another. Nonetheless, the two are pretty low-key when it comes to home-life.

"We watch Amerca's Funniest Home Videos and reruns of The Brady Bunch," she noted fondly. "That's very much our life."

Keith Urban Talks Touring With Daughters

Dedicated to her profession, Kidman never takes shortcuts when it comes to getting into character, but lately family has become her biggest concern. She has two daughters with Urban, six-year-old Sunday Rose and three-year-old Faith Margaret. The four live in Nashville, Tenn. and go out on tour with Urban when she isn't busy filming.

"They say your art gets affected when you have a family," she explained, "But I'd much rather have a family. Having experienced the greatest awards and accolades, the idea of being alone with that doesn't work for me."

Kidman was more than happy to talk about her career as well as family, thankful for her marriage to Urban and all that it has provided. Kidman and her first husband, actor Tom Cruise, were married for 11 years before divorcing in 2011. She and Urban tied the knot in 2006, when he was 38 and she was 39.

"Keith always says, 'We're lucky we met late in life. The sadness of that is we can't have six kids together, but the greatness of that is [we are done] with all the other stuff, so now we are totally present for this.' That's a great thing to hear from a man," explained the actress.

Kidman's positive outlook seems to match that of her husband. She appreciates the little things and the time she gets to spend with her family.

As for the key to their success, Kidman had only one answer. "Snuggling," she insisted, "Snuggling is the secret to happiness."
