They have said they would be marrying this fall, but Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg may have too anxious to wait, as multiple reports claim the couple is tying the knot Saturday, August 30.

Jenny McCarthy and Donnie Wahlberg Sparking A New Trend In Weddings?

Sources reportedly told Hollywood Life that the wedding is scheduled to happen on Saturday, and that their close friends and Donnie's family are all flying to New York for the flashy ceremony.

The couple, who announced their engagement in April, have made a huge deal about downplaying their wedding, often saying they were going to opt for a low-key affair, only with close friends and family in attendance.

Donnie Wahlberg Says He's A 'Winner' As Long As He Has Jenny McCarthy?

"We keep going back and forth in terms of having it now or pushing it until next year," McCarthy said in a July 21 interview with Parade Magazine.  "We're both so madly in love and we keep whispering, 'Should we elope and do it next week?' I'll tell you this, there's no doubt in my mind we won't be able to last up until Christmas. So from now up until Christmas, I will be Mrs. Wahlberg!"

Back after they first became engaged, McCarthy revealed what she was thinking as far as her wedding was concerned-and it appears the couple is making their wedding something she originally admitted to wanting.

"We're like, do we do August and get it over with or do we wait a year? I think wait a year," she said in May. "We both like New York because [coming from] Chicago and Boston, everyone can get to New York."

She mentioned that the wedding would potentially have a Boston-Chicago theme once again in July, saying they were trying to find some way to blend both their hometowns into the nuptials.

"We kind of wanted to do like a Boston, Chicago theme...We wanted some oysters maybe from the East Coast and have our dinner as the steak or lobster and steak-something to kind of represent both sides."
