Ferguson joins the cast as the newest addition with no word on if Ghost Protocol star Paula Patton returning for the fifth movie. She is joined by returning cast members Simon Pegg, Jeremy Renner and Ving Rhames with Alec Baldwin joining the cast as the head of the CIA.

No word yet on what will happen in the script, but the Baldwin character appears to be an important persona in the new movie and could be a villainous character for Cruise's Ethan Hunt to have to face. So far though, casting is still underway.
