Supernatural's Sam and Dean Winchester might be raising hell on earth, but heaven will be relatively calm as season 10 opens.

In season 9, Supernatural's battles for control over heaven and hell came to a boiling point. Now that Abaddon is dead and Metatron (Curtis Armstrong) locked up in heaven's prison courtesy of Cas (Misha Collins) and Gadreel (Tahmoh Penikett), it looks like the drama is now focused solely on Team Free Will.

Considering Cas is still in the picture, however, the trouble with paradise won't come entirely to a close.

"The focus, certainly in the beginning, is much more on what's happening with some angels on Earth," said executive producer Jeremy Carver, according to Buddy TV. "At the beginning of the season, the angels have largely gotten their act together. Metatron is in jail, and the angels who are up there are doing their best to try and work things out. So in terms of...stability in heaven, it's as stable as its been in many years."

As for those angels still on earth, fans should prey to Chuck that Cas doesn't run into any of them. The rebel angel's grace is near zero, and he has a habit of finding battles wherever his brothers may be. With the shape he's in during season 10, Cas can't afford to take any unnecessary damage.
