The titles of the first five episodes of FX's American Horror Story: Freak Show have been released and it seems that the series will indeed be tackling another controversial figure from history.

World's Smallest Woman Joins American Horror Story: Freak Show

The premiere episode of American Horror Story: Freak Show is titled Monsters Among Us, according to a new report by SpoilerTV. This is a clear reference to Jessica Lange's new character Elsa Mars, who goes around "saving" various deformed people in society to put in her show. The second episode is titled Massacres and Matinees, which indicates that death may come very soon in the season.

Next up is the two-part Halloween episode, Edward Mordrake, Pt. 1 and Edward Mordrake, Pt. 2. As previously reported by Enstars, Mordrake was an English heir in the 19th century who also happened to have two faces. His second face resided on the back of his head and he would often refer to it as his "evil twin." It is suggested that Wes Bentley will be playing the character, as it has previously been announced that he is playing a character named "Eddie."

Finally, the fifth episode of the season is titled Pink Cupcakes, which is a bit more vague than the previous titles but still intriguing in its own way.

American Horror Story: Freak Show takes place in 1952 and is set in Jupiter, Fla. where one of the last remaining freak shows resides. Elsa Mars owns the freak show, which features a two-headed character (Sarah Paulson), a bearded lady (Kathy Bates) and a woman with three breasts (Angela Bassett), among others.

The Freak Show begins Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 10 p.m. on FX.
