Will Chase, the actor who plays Luke on Nashville, dished on his character and teased that there's a good chance he might be the one to end up with Rayna.

On Friday, Radio & TV Talk posted an interview with Chase who mentioned why Luke might have a better chance with Rayna instead of Deacon. Even though Deacon is the flawed bad boy, the actor said that he gets rooted for. Chase also said that his character has "done nothing to warrant" the hate, but there is a reason why he might be the main man in the end.

"Deacon has split with Rayna numerous times and almost killed her," Chase said. "Luke has done nothing like that."

New Character With A 'Dark Past' Joins 'Nashville'

This might give fans something to think about especially if they're rooting for Rayna to end up with Deacon. While they might come off as the classic couple, it's possible that Luke might be more worthy of the woman as the series continues.

Chase also talked about what he learned about the country business since joining the series.

"I go to the Bluebird Cafe, walk in there on a Wednesday and Thursday and just watch these amazing musicians," he said. "Many of the writers play there. One guy said he wrote a song for Blake Shelton and it was his third number one. It's a cool dichotomy. Superstars often don't write their own songs here."

Nashville Season 3 will premiere on Wednesday, September 24 at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
