Love was in the air over the holiday weekend, as “Being Mary Jane” actress Gabrielle Union got married to Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade. In a super-private Miami affair, celebrities and their significant others watched the two make their longtime relationship official on Saturday, Aug. 30.

Union looked stunning in a gorgeous Dennis Basso custom gown. The men in attendance of the wedding wore black, while the ladies wore white. To make things even more perfect, John Legend serenaded the couple throughout the night and Gabi’s best friend and fellow actress Essence Atkins officiated the ceremony.

Their close friends like Lala & Carmelo Anthony, Kevin Hart & Eniko Parrish as well as Chris & Adrienne Bosh were in attendance. All three couples posted Instagram pictures to their accounts to show their support of #TheWadeUnion before entering the breathtaking Chateau Artisan Castle.

But, while many of their friends posted pictures, two of their most talked-about friends did not— Lebron and Savannah James.

For the past four years, Wade and James have taken their talents to the NBA Finals, outdoing some of the most talented players in the world and bringing Miami two championship rings in the process. Throughout their time playing together, two of the seemingly unstoppable “Big 3” formed an unbreakable bond.

In July, after Lebron announced that he would return to the Cleveland Cavaliers, Wade supported him 100%, telling the AP, “We were friends when we first joined the league and created an unbreakable bond the past four years.”

But, according to various reports, the James’ may not have attended the Wade wedding.

The biggest reason fans believe they skipped out on the plush ceremony is because neither one of their Instagram accounts have been updated with pictures of them attending. Lebron’s latest post was in promotion of a Kia model, during the same time that most wedding guests were heading to the venue.

Still, just because no pictures were posted of them at the wedding does not mean they did not attend, and it does not mean that the two couples are no longer friends.

According to BlackSportsOnline, a source told them that the Lebron and Savannah did attend the wedding and asked not to be pictured, in an effort to not take “any deserved attention away from Wade and Gabby.”

No other guests have confirmed nor denied their attendance, but it seems that their friendship is still in tact. Either way, congrats to Gabrielle and D.Wade, who made a stunning bride and groom!
