Tess' (Nina Lisandrello) older brother, Jamie, will be introduced in season 3 of Beauty and the Beast and he is expected to play chief commander and rough up Tess' beau, J.T. (Austin Basis) some.

TVLine reported this exciting bit of news on August 28, revealing that The CW show was already busy casting for Jamie's role. He will be an "overbearing lawman" who will step in to help the sister out, but is quite the authoritarian and disciplinarian. Jamie will be tough on J.T. but only bring out the best in him.

Filming of season 3 of the CW series began on August 28.

Recently, the executive producer of the CW series, Brad Kern, spoke about the what fans can expect from the next chapter of the show in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

Kern revealed that season 3 would focus on Catherine (Kristin Kreuk) and Vincent's (Jay Ryan) love. 

"Now that we have the loyal audience, the goal is to make it more Cat-Vincent centric," he said. "We'll continue to build the mythology. Everything else will service and work around that love."

The producer went into some detail about how they worked this storyline from the first season to help build a stronger relationship between the duo. He also stated that the challenge was to see them through as a couple, have them endure the trials and tribulations that might follow. So fans can be assured of the fact that Cat and Vin will stick it out together through the next season.

The season 2 finale Deja Vu aired on The CW at 8 p.m. on July 7.
