The Agent Carter TV Show has landed its major male lead-and One Tree Hill alum Chad Michael Murray will officially be on the small screen once again.

The 33-year-old actor has joined the series in the major role of Strategic Scientific Reserve Agent Jack Thompson, who will meet Agent Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) when she takes on a new role at the SSR in New York City.

Murray isn't the only new face that is joining the show, which premieres on ABC during the midseason break.

Marvel has also announced that Dollhouse alum Enver Gjokaj also signed on as a series regular as Agent Daniel Sousa, another agent Carter will meet at the SSR. It has not yet been confirmed if actor Dominic Cooper would also feature on the show, reprising his role as Howard Stark from the Marvel short film of the same name.

Marvel also released an official synopsis of the show:

Agent Carter follows the story of Captain America character Peggy Carter after the war ends in 1946. When all the men return from fighting abroad, the once-important and high-ranking Carter finds herself marginalized. Working for the covert SSR, she must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark, all while trying to navigate life as a single woman in America after losing the love of her life-Captain America himself, Steve Rogers.

With so many male actors signed on, it is unclear if any of them will become a new love interest for Agent Carter.

Agent Carter premieres on ABC during the Midseason Break in 2015.
