The first behind-the-scenes picture of Carrie Preston, who plays Elsbeth Tascioni, while filming season 6 of The Good Wife was recently revealed.

Preston posted the picture on her Instagram account. She is seen dressed as Elsbeth, smiling for the camera as a small paper label reads "Elsbeth T."

Earlier last month the actress spoke to AssignmentX about her recurring role in season 6 of the CBS legal drama. Preston stated that she didn't have much information about the next season but suggested that she was pretty sure that her character would be addressing Will's (Josh Charles) death in the next chapter.

"I mean, I would imagine that when I do come back that they will have me at least address that, because my character worked closely with his character, so I'm sure that Elsbeth is going to deal with lots of that," Preston said. "Elsbeth feels things very acutely, so I think they would give me a moment to [react]."

She had no knowledge of how much of her fans would get to see in the next season, but was guessing it would be about the same as in the last.

"I wish it was up to me," she said. "I think it's probably going to be around the same as what I've usually been doing, but I don't know."

In June it was revealed that Preston will be returning for season 6. Preston had also been nominated for an Emmy for her recurring guest role in The Good Wife this year.

The finale of season 5 concluded with Eli Gould (Alan Cumming) proposing Alicia (Julianna Margulies) become a candidate for State's Attorney. A few other big changes were afoot, with Diane (Christine Baranski) deciding to join Florrick/Agos.

The finale, titled A Weird Year, aired on May 18.
