A wide number of female celebrities have been reported victims of a nude photo scandal, one of them being Olympic gymnast McKayla Maroney who might leave the hacker in even worse trouble for her case.

On Tuesday, TMZ reported that Maroney was apparently under the age of 18 when the hacked photos were taken. She is now reportedly taking legal action against porn sites who are posting these photos. 

It looks like Porn.com may have already gotten a hold of these images, but Maroney's attorneys have sent a letter to the site telling them they must take the pictures down immediately. It also turns out that the gymnast might own the copyright to these images. Porn.com has apparently taken down the pictures once the letter was received. 

McKayla Maroney's Photo Receives Nasty Comments

There is no word yet on how real these images of Maroney might be- the site mentioned that the letter was not specific if perhaps just some parts of the gymnast are real although Maroney has taken to Twitter to say that the pictures are fake.

"the fake photos of me are crazy!! was trying to rise above it all, and not give 'the creator' the time of day.. BUT..," Maroney tweeted, adding in a picture of Jesus that says, "You Sir, Need Jesus."

If Maroney really was under the age of 18 when these pictures were taken, then there's a possibility that whoever hacked the photos could wind up in even more serious trouble.
