"I see myself doing what I'm doing now on a bigger scale," Mahone told Access Atlanta Thursday. "I'm starting to sell out bigger venues, and I want to fill them around the world."

Before Mahone started his 2014 North American summer tour, the Mmm Yeah singer went to Japan and Europe. His management team is also reportedly working on an inaugural trip to Australia.

"It's crazy," Mahone said of going overseas. "I go over there and there are hundreds of people waiting at the airport. It's really cool."

While on his current tour, Mahone has been covering country legend George Strait. According to Idolator in July, Mahone covered Strait's 1995 hit Check Yes Or No while wearing a cowboy hat that belonged to his father.

"It's definitely a Texas thing," Mahone said about singing Strait. "I grew up listening to him. He's one of my favorite country artists."

Maybe Mahone will go country on his next album? Mahone said that he will start recording his first full-length record after his tour. "I have one EP out now and the reaction has been great," Mahone told Cleveland.com on Wednesday. "After the tour I'm going back to Miami to work on my first full length. I'm excited to start recording."
