The Daily Mail reported Wednesday that despite a trade in 2009 from Manchester, Ronaldo would love to go back. "I love Manchester," Ronaldo said. "Everyone knows that - I have said it many times. Manchester is in my heart. I left many good friends there, the supporters are amazing and I wish I can come back one day.

"I really did love being at Manchester United," Ronaldo repeated. "Believe me, they will be a good team again, I'm sure of it. It is a great club."

Ronaldo did mention that he is currently happy with Real Madrid, though. "I have four more years," he said, "but in the future you never know because they treated me unbelievably there."

Ronaldo has been dealing with injuries since this past summer's World Cup, however, which has reportedly scared Real Madrid a little bit. "Cristiano always wants to play and it's that competitive streak that makes him the player he is, but he knows he will need to rest more to avoid a constant recurrence of this problem," a source close to Madrid told Goal.com earlier this summer after the World Cup. The source continued to say that the club was "delighted" to see him training at his full capacity, but there was some concern over how he will do throughout the entire season.
