Recently Mad Men star Jon Hamm has been doing a lot of press in England to promote his new film Million Dollar Arm, but of course the actor can't go too long in any given interview without being asked about the iconic AMC series.

When Sky News reporter Joe Michalczuk sat down with Hamm to talk about the film (featured below), he focused on the comparisons between the projects rather than asking straightforward Mad Men questions. "It was exciting to play something different," admitted Hamm in regards to his role on the film.

As for the stress of leading a big studio movie, Hamm didn't really feel it all too much. "I've been the lead of a fairly successful television program for quite some time," he noted, "So whatever pressure I felt I had already felt times a million doing that [Mad Men]".

Filming the baseball flick has certainly been a different experience from Mad Men as a whole. The actor found it to be a "fun" experience filming on location in the crowded streets of India, which contrasted greatly from the closed off sets in Los Angeles where they shot Mad Men.

Michalczuk also pointed out the level of secrecy the cast and crew have been required to keep over the last seven seasons of Mad Men, while the film is pretty much an open book. After all, it is based on a true story, which leaves little to keep from the press when discussing the experience.

Mad Men returns to AMC to finish its seventh and final season January 2015.
