Since receiving news that Stefano (Joseph Mascolo) was headed back to Salem, Sami (Allison Sweeney) and Kate (Lauren Koslow) have been high alert on Days of Our Lives-and the two new heads of DiMera Enterprises are trying anything they can think of to keep their enemy from returning.

Sami Gets Into A Battle With Nicole

Sami became especially spooked when she noticed the portrait of herself and Kate that had been hanging in the DiMera Mansion had been replaced with the one of Stefano, and even accused her husband E.J. (James Scott) of working behind her back and conspiring with his father to overthrow her and Kate-but she later learned the butler had just been following Stefano's direct orders, as he was informed Stefano would be arriving the next day.

Now, Kate and Sami will need to work together to think of some way to potentially block Stefano's return, as his arrival in town would not only mean they would be overthrown as the co-CEO's of the company-but it could mean their lives would also be on the line.

Abigail Slaps Sami

Meanwhile, Abigail (Kate Mansi) is trying to figure out some way to get back on track with her relationship. She and Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) were doing well as a couple, until they wound up locked in the storage room of club TBD. When things began getting more hot and heavy, Abigail had flashbacks to her time with E.J., which caused her to push Ben away.

Now, she will try and convince her beau that E.J. is no longer a problem  and won't come between them again.

Days of Our Lives airs Monday-Friday at 1 p.m. on NBC.
