"I never say this before, but yeah, I was going to do it," Galavis told Extra this week, discussing the possibility of participating on Dancing With the Stars this fall.

Several Bachelor hosts and contestants have gone on to participate on Dancing With the Stars, with contestant Melissa Rycroft actually winning Dancing With the Stars: All Stars. The most recent Bachelor to participate in DWTS was Sean Lowe, who came in sixth place during Season 16.

Instead of competing on the show, Galavis chose to do Couples Therapy on VH1 alongside his girlfriend (and Bachelor winner) Nikki Ferrell instead.

"If we were dating already, why not take the chance and get some therapy and see an expert?" He said that they are happy that they chose to participate in the show or else they "probably would have killed each other two weeks later."

He added that "It's part of the process... part of the things I thought we were okay but they were not okay with her."

Dancing With the Stars Season 19 is set to premiere Monday, Sept. 15 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC. The cast of 13 new celebrities was announced Thursday on ABC's Good Morning America. View the new cast list of DWTS (and which pros they will be paired up with) here.
