In an interview dated September 4, actress Kate Mara revealed whether she was pissed off about her character, Zoe Barnes, getting killed off on the House of Cards.

The New York Post asked Mara if she was angry about her sudden fictional death on the Netflix series.

"Pissed? I am not pissed, but I miss it," she said.

The Post caught up with Mara at an H&M event, which she was gracing with good friend Hollywood stylist Johnny Wujek. Interestingly enough, she revealed that Wujek was the one who was actually miffed about them cutting her out of the plot for season 2.

"He was pissed. He didn't know it was going to happen," said Mara. 

"I was at the premiere, and I was so excited for the second season and then I was like, 'Nooo,' " Wujek said.

Recently, showrunner Beau Willimon shared all the Emmy action surrounding the show with fans. He posted photos on Twitter from the Emmys night on August 25, featuring Mara and Michael Kelly.

The director and cast members looked very spirited and posed goofily for some pictures. Although, the Netflix series was nominated in the bunch of categories, the show won only one award. House of Cards was nominated in some of the major categories like outstanding drama series, outstanding directing for a drama series, outstanding lead actor in a drama series, outstanding lead actress in a drama series.

The third season of House of Cards will film in Maryland, where the first and second seasons were also shot. Initially, the continuation of filming of the third season of the Netflix series was fraught with troubles over the past few weeks as the producers weren't getting permission from the State of Maryland. But the issue was finally resolved on April 25.
