Just like many celebrities and other fans out there, Austin Mahone is mourning the passing of the legendary Joan Rivers.

How Austin Mahone Wants To Expand His Career

Mahone took to his Instagram on Thursday to address Rivers' death after the comedian's daughter Melissa had revealed she had died at age 81. He wrote alongside a photo of the two of them from her hit show Fashion Police, "Rip Joan ❤ it's insane to think I was just on her show not too long ago.. and how fast things can change. Never take advantage of the time you have with the ones you love." Mahone had appeared very recently on the hit E! show.

TMZ revealed Joan's death on Thursday after her daughter released a statement. "It is with great sadness that I announce the death of my mother, Joan Rivers. She passed peacefully at 1:17 PM surrounded by family and close friends. My son and I would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Mount Sinai hospital for the amazing care they provided for my mother."
