In a short scene, Malcolm's brother Neil (Kristoff St. John) is seen telling everyone to leave the room.

"Even me?" Malcolm asks as he walks through the door.

"Is that Malcolm?" Neil asks in shock.

Moore, who currently stars on Criminal Minds, dished on his character's return and revealed that the brothers will still have some conflict.

"They're still going head to head like in the old days, trying to fight through those demons that have always kept them at odds. Malcolm is always seeking his brother's respect. He just wants that big brotherly hug, but Neil doesn't trust him because of their history. Still, deep down, there's a lot of love there," he told TV Guide magazine.

Neil, he said, fears that he may permanently be blind, but he doesn't want anyone to help him. The family asked Neil to come help.

"I probably shouldn't say this, but I think Malcolm comes back a little too preachy - 42 pages worth of preachin'! The audience is gonna be, like, 'It was good to see Shemar but, damn, he wouldn't shut up!'" Moore added.

Moore will return to Y&R after almost 10 years on Wednesday, Sept. 10 and Thursday, Sept. 11.
