MTV's Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans proudly watched this week as boyfriend Nathan Griffith bonded with her five-year-old son Jace over some baseball. This weekend, Evans is the one stepping up and reaching out to Griffith's three-year-old daughter, Emery.

While Emery does not live with Griffith, she does spent a lot of time with Evans and Jace whenever she comes to visit.

"I guess I'm a bridge now lol," tweeted Evans on Friday afternoon. The accompanying photo showed little Emery sitting on Evans knees as they sat with Griffith in the living room.

Evans received all kinds of responses to the post, from fans who thought it was adorable to critics looking to hate. The reality star took a few minutes to respond on Twitter to some of them, informing one hater that she wasn't just "sitting on her a**" but had in fact "been out all day…"

The 23-year old wasn't just reacting to negativity, she laughed along with some jokes from fans and answered questions about the kids, letting them know that Emery is now three.

While neither Griffith nor Evans have custody of their older kids at this time, the pair celebrated the birth of their first child together this summer. Little Kaiser was born June 29 and continues to live with his parents along the beach in North Carolina.
