Kristen Stewart Rupert Sanders: Stewart To Write Private Letter Apologizing to Liberty Ross for Infidelity [Photos]

Kristen Stewart had issued a public apology to Robert Pattinson in light of her affair with married director Rubert Sanders yesterday. But while she apologized publicly to Pattinson, she did not mention Sanders' wife, Liberty Ross.

"I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected," Stewart said, according to People. "This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry."

The 22 year-old actress was pictured in the arms of Sanders, who directed her latest film "Snow White and The Huntsman".

The affair was unveiled Tuesday by Us Weekly magazine which claims to have photographs of the two hooking up and not having "enough" of themselves.

Latest reports now state that Kristen plans to write a private letter apologizing to Liberty Ross for the moment of indiscretion with her husband. A source told RadarOnline: "Kristen didn't feel it was appropriate to issue a public apology to Liberty once the story of her affair with Rupert broke...Instead, she's going to do the decent thing and write Liberty a private letter expressing her deepest regret for her actions."

The source continued: "She was thinking of including Liberty, Rupert and the kids in her public apology - but Kristen was so desperate to save her relationship with Rob she decided to concentrate on that first."

It seems that Rupert's marriage could be in jeopardy as he too issued a public apology to his wife for the affair. The41-year-old, who has two young kids with his model wife, told People: "I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family.  My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together."

Ironically, Sanders' wife Liberty played the role of "Queen Eleanor", Stewart's mother, in the "Snow White and the Huntsman", which was only released last month.
