Hollywood couple Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are reportedly having to work on the time they spend together mainly because of something else that society tends to get addicted to.

Jennifer Garner Doesn't Want To Be Her Husband's 'Enabler?'

On Friday, Entertainment Tonight Canada posted an interview with Garner who talked about how technology is such a big part of the world now, which can make it difficult to go on with life without it. It's something that she and her husband have to keep an eye out on for the sake of their children as well as for each other.

"We police each other, we police ourselves," the actress said when she was asked if she and her husband curb their own phone and Internet use. "We just try to have guidelines and say, 'okay, we gotta...we have to...put it down, and let's figure that out together,' and we're on the same page about it."

Garner also talked about how she lets her kids use certain forms of technology, which requires a lot of attention and care.

"I don't let my kids on a computer without me right there," she said. "You have to be on top of it because it would take so little for them to see something that could be an image that sticks in their head they don't want to see. But...I'm five minutes from my child being at a friend's house and having access to a computer that I can't control."
