"So exciting!" tweeted Underwood along with a pic of the SNF bus with a poster of her and a dozen football players plastered across the side. "And so it begins…a new season!!!"

Underwood's 2014 rendition of the SNF theme Waiting All Day For Sunday Night premièred before this season's kickoff game between Denver and the Colts on Sunday.

Carrie Underwood's Pregnancy Could Impact The Super Bowl

The prerecorded number featured Underwood in a short, sparkly, silver dress as she sang on an enormous stage in front of the fans. There was a light show and a billowing American flag, as well as a few shots of folks cheering in the crowd.

It's been no secret that Underwood was joined in the video by a few professional players, who did everything from lip sync, dance and even crowd-surf while Underwood belted out the lyrics. The singer even took a moment to snap a selfie with one of the players as she continued the number.

This is Underwood's second year with the coveted singing gig, having also performed the same song to a different routine last year.

The country singer had recently been considered a contender to perform the Super Bowl halftime show in 2015. Last week, however, Underwood announced that she and NHL husband are expecting their first child together. This would put the star at about six months pregnant at the time of the event, meaning Underwood might just have to wait for 2016 if she is going to land the gig.
