The plot to save Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Lulu (Emmee Rylan) was destroyed by Victor's (Thaao Penghlis) arrival at the safe house, but the whole kidnapping scenario will only become even more harrowing on General Hospital, as Victor will become distracted by something else.

A Mystery Man Is Revealed

When Nathan (Ryan Paevy) finally presented himself to Victor at the cabin, he revealed his mother was Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), and he didn't know who his father was-which floored Victor, as he once had a romance with her-meaning Nathan could be his son. Instead of killing him, Victor then took Nathan, along with Maxie, Lulu and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), and is postponing their deaths while he searched for the truth-but he won't resist potentially torturing his captives.

"Nathan!" Maxie is heard screaming in the background in a preview clip for the Monday, September 8 episode-as Nathan is dragged away by Victor's men, wearing a blindfold while his hands are tied behind his back.

Dante and Nathan Continue Their Desperate Search For Maxie and Lulu

"What the hell are you doing to her?" Nathan demands.

They aren't the only ones who are potentially being tortured however. Lulu and Dante have finally woken up after passing out from the tear gas that was used to subdue them-only to find themselves tied up on opposite sides of an unfamiliar room.

"Where the hell are we?" Lulu asks.

Meanwhile, back in Port Charles, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) believes she has learned the truth that Victor is Nathan's father-and will rush to tell Nikolas that her brother is actually his cousin.

"You may want to sit down for this," she says in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at a new time of 3 p.m. EST on ABC.
