'Ant-Man' Star Is Extremely Excited To Be A Part Of The Movie, Says 'This Is Huge!'

Star Michael Douglas spoke about the Ant-Man costume on Monday with MTV and how his co-star Paul Rudd was not able to fit into it because of how ripped he has gotten for the role.

"Paul Rudd is ripped," Douglas said. "He's been training and working out for this picture for a long time. He was so cut, that they had to soften his costume up, with all the built-in six-packs and all of that."

Douglas added that his character will be giving away the costume so he won't have the chance to wear it.

"My costume will be hung up," he said, "and Paul will be wearing it in good form."

Filming is currently going on for Ant-Man with Douglas joined by Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Judy Greer, Michael Pena, and T.I. in the cast. The shoot will most likely be shifting to Atlanta soon, which is where the majority of work will take place.

Ant-Man is directed by Peyton Reed from a script by Adam McKay, Andrew Barrer and Gabriel Ferrari. The film is the first leg of Marvel's Phase 3 movies, which so far also includes another Thor, Captain America and Guardians of the Galaxy movie with the introduction of Doctor Strange.

Ant-Man is set to open in theaters on July 17, 2015.
